provide individual therapy for adolescents and adults. I view individual therapy through a trauma-focused and attachment-focused lens and I employ psychodynamic and depth oriented approaches that allow us to identify and treat the root issues causing disruption in your life. Working through core issues while simultaneously gaining new skills to handle stressors will allow us to disrupt old dysfunctional patterns and create new ways of living that promote wholeness and increased happiness both within yourself and within your relationships.

I specialize in treating individuals impacted by:

  • Trauma and PTSD

  • Anxiety

  • Depression

  • Borderline Personality Disorder

  • Bipolar and Other Mood Disorders

  • Attachment Disorders and Related Concerns

  • LGBTQ+ individuals

I provide therapy to couples in all relational configurations and in all stages of the relationship. I work with couples to develop an understanding of the issues impacting the relationship and examine the root causes of the difficulties. I help couples identify and explore physical and emotional needs and ways to communicate, advocate for, and have those needs met within the relationship. Often times, communication difficulties are the result of unmet needs for secure attachment and by examining those needs and retraining ourselves to focus on attachment and attunement with our partners, we develop healthier and more loving relationships.

I specialize in treating couples coping with concerns related to:

  • Communication Difficulties

  • Family of Origin

  • Non-Monogamy and Polyamory

  • Attachment

  • Mental Health Difficulties in One or More Individuals

Clinical hypnosis, in combination with regular psychotherapy, has been shown to reduce and alleviate symptoms associated with anxiety, depression, PTSD, chronic pain, specific phobias, and sleep issues. Additionally, clinical hypnosis is shown to aid in decreasing and eliminating unwanted behaviors like smoking and overeating.

Clinical hypnosis involves a trained professional assisting clients in entering a state of deep relaxation where the client can practice enhancing their mind-body connection, reducing anxiety and learning ways to calm their body and mind, and exploring and resolving unconscious and subconscious content that is creating problems within their lives. Much like guided imagery, clients remain awake and fully in control during hypnosis. Hypnosis is not used to uncover repressed memories, but rather to aid in gaining a better understanding of the unconscious and subconscious processes currently impacting functioning and to build skills clients can use to increase mindful awareness and tolerance of difficult emotions. Clinical hypnosis is incorporated into treatment plans only when appropriate and only with client consent.
